The Journey

It all started in a Nashville kitchen in 2013 when two founders were determined to learn more about each other so they could work together more effectively. Fast forward 10+ years and both Brad McAllister and William Paddock are leading a sustainability revolution. In 2021, as they shifted from a team of five to a team of 15, they knew it was time to invest more significantly in their culture.

Ways of Working

Together, we investigated what made WAP special. After several client and employee interviews, multiple working sessions, and a workshop with the entire team, we named key behaviors that differentiated the team. These four key principles, or Ways of Working, were the launchpad for growing a unified team.

Offsite Retreats

As the team continued to grow and the Ways of Working translated into new values, structures, and processes, so did the opportunities to hire highly talented remote team members. So that the very best talent could show up embodying the WAP values, the team started a twice annual offsite retreat. Each retreat focuses on connecting to what makes WAP special. They are multi-day adventures that invite personal growth, intimate connection, and space to dream big.

The Moonlight team custom designs the content and experiences. For example, in 2023, with a team of almost 50 employees, we were tasked with supporting the WAP team with becoming “Boardroom Ready.” We’ve focused on cultivating the skills and confidence needed to navigate high-stakes relationships.
